June 30, 2011 - The Bell Hotel on Main Street reopens as 42 housing units.

June 30, 1898 – The Baldur Gazette-News begins publishing under Mr. S. R. P. Cooper. Today the paper is the Baldur-Glenboro Gazette and has been operated by the Johnson family since 1948.

June 30, 1987 - The initial run of 100 million 'loonies' struck at the Winnipeg Mint go into circulation.

June 30, 1958 - Douglas Campbell resigns as Premier of Manitoba. He would stay on as an MLA until 1969.

June 30, 2004 - It is Glenboro Manitoba-born John Harvard's first day as the 23rd Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba.
